Victoria, Pam and the extended family of Speedie are very grateful for Peace of Mind being involved in Speedie's journey.

Jonathan is a Brain Cancer support nurse who is trained in palliative care, with extensive experience in the Brain cancer community.  Working for the Peace Of Mind Foundation, he was, and remains a wonderful support to our family. Jonathan became a constant of support through Dad's journey, visiting on a fortnightly basis, into our home Jonathan handled himself with grace and treated Dad with respect and dignity always. Jonathan became like a wonderful friend his experience and calm demeanour provided our family with the ability to navigate throughout the entirety of Dad's diagnosis. 

Jonathan was the calm in the storm, and the person we knew we could turn to without hesitation of judgement and honesty in his responses which helped guide us in making the best decisions for our family as we carried on through Dad's journey. 

We are thankful to have had the opportunities for several weekends away, at no cost covered by the Peace of Mind Foundation which allowed us to connect with other families impacted by Brain Cancer as well as make memories as a family that will be held very close to our hearts.
